Acrylic Pouring Ornaments
December 12 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Skip the brushes and get ready for a fun, messy, creative night of painting! Acrylic pouring is a fluid painting technique where you pour paint directly on your surface.
Caitlin Forcier will walk you through the basic techniques of thinning and layering paint to pour, along with some helpful do’s and don’ts. You will learn about three methods of pouring- the “puddle pour”, the “dirty pour”, and the “flip cup”.
After learning the basics, put your knowledge to practice and use your new skills to paint some Christmas ornaments! Each participant will get to paint five wooden ornaments to take home!
Ages 8 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a “pay-what-you-can” class, which makes it possible for people of all economic backgrounds to participate. Enter your quantity below, select “Buy Now” and enter your desired payment amount on the next screen. Select “Continue” and you will have the option to pay through PayPal or a credit card.
The suggested fee for the Acrylic Pouring class is $25. Because Make.Do. is a 501(c)3 organization, any amount over the suggested fee may be tax deductible.
(If you have trouble at the payment screen, try opening a new browser. Paypal doesn’t always redirect correctly through social media links.)
This class requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the class is cancelled, you will have the option to use your fee for a future class or receive a full refund.
Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance, you can choose to (1) donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund or (2) credit your fee to a future class. Cancellations made less than 24 hours from the time of the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund.
