March 25 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Jean Ann Edrington is teaching this 4-week beginner’s knitting class. She will cover basic knitting techniques, including: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off, finishing techniques, how to read a knitting pattern, and more! This will be a “go-at-your-own pace” class. We will all start with dishcloths to give you lots of practice with different techniques. Finish as few or as many projects as you want over the 4-week period.
THIS CLASS MEETS EVERY MONDAY FROM MARCH 25 THRU APRIL 15.
This is a “pay-what-you-can” class, which makes it possible for people of all economic backgrounds to participate. Enter your quantity below, select “Buy Now” and enter your desired payment amount on the next screen. Select “Continue” and you will have the option to pay through PayPal or a credit card.
The suggested fee for the Beginner Knitting class is $60. Because Make.Do. is a 501(c)3 organization, any amount over the suggested fee may be tax deductible.
Class fee includes knitting needles but not yarn. You will need 100% cotton yarn for the first project. Hobby Lobby has a great selection of brands and colors.
(If you have trouble at the payment screen, try opening a new browser. Paypal doesn’t always redirect correctly through social media links.)
