April 4 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Quilting is a great way to learn how to sew! It’s straightforward and repetitive, so you can focus on getting comfortable with the machine and sewing basics. In this six-week class, we will learn about sewing tools, fabric selection, how to measure and cut fabric, piecing techniques, straight-line quilting, and machine binding.
Machines, fabric, and supplies are covered in the class fee.
This class meets every Thursday evening from April 4 through May 9.
This is a “pay-what-you-can” class, which makes it possible for people of all economic backgrounds to participate. Enter your quantity below, select “Buy Now” and enter your desired payment amount on the next screen. Select “Continue” and you will have the option to pay through PayPal or a credit card.
The suggested fee for the Learn-to-Quilt class is $150. You will receive a donation receipt for any amount over $150. Because Make.Do. is a 501(c)3 organization, your donation may be tax deductible.
(If you have trouble at the payment screen, try opening a new browser. Paypal doesn’t always redirect correctly through social media links.)
This class requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the class is cancelled, you will have the option to use your fee for a future class or receive a full refund.
Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance, you can choose to (1) donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund or (2) credit your fee to a future class. Cancellations made less than 24 hours from the time of the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel or for more details on Make.Do.’s policy.
