Woven Wall Hanging
June 22 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Join Maggie Lake, a Searcy native and the high school art teacher at Harding Academy, for this full-day Woven Wall Hanging workshop. The workshop will teach four different weaving techniques that can be used in a variety of combinations to create your own unique woven artwork. Maggie will also cover weaving terms and vocabulary, supplies, and materials so you can feel confident to continue weaving at home.
The class fee includes supplies and materials for one wall weaving. Lunch is provided.
No previous weaving experience needed. Suitable for participants 16 and older. (Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.)
