Teen T-Shirt Quilt
June 17 @ 8:00 am - 11:30 am
In the week-long T-Shirt Quilt class, we will learn how to prepare t-shirts for sewing, cutting and layout techniques, sew the quilt top, straight-line quilting, and machine binding. No sewing experience? Don’t worry, this class is great for beginners too! Quilting is straightforward and repetitive, so you can focus on getting comfortable with the machine and sewing basics.
Machines, quilt batting, and supplies for a 4×5 shirt quilt are covered in the class fee. T-shirts and fabric for the back of the quilt are not included.
This class meets everyday from June 17 through June 21.
This is a “pay-what-you-can” class, which makes it possible for people of all economic backgrounds to participate. Enter your quantity below, select “Buy Now” and enter your desired payment amount on the next screen. Select “Continue” and you will have the option to pay through PayPal or a credit card.
The suggested fee for the Teen T-Shirt Quilt class is $150. You will receive a donation receipt for any amount over $150. Because Make.Do. is a 501(c)3 organization, your donation may be tax deductible.
(If you have trouble at the payment screen, try opening a new browser. Paypal doesn’t always redirect correctly through social media links.)
This class requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the class is cancelled, you will have the option to use your fee for a future class or receive a full refund.
Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance, you can choose to (1) donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund or (2) credit your fee to a future class. Cancellations made less than 24 hours from the time of the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund. Please email email@example.com to cancel or for more details on Make.Do.’s policy.
