Zippered Boxy Pouch
June 15 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Denise Karnes, the woman responsible for teaching me to quilt 10 years ago, is coming to Searcy to teach this Boxy Pouch class! This is a great beginner-intermediate sewing project. We will learn free-motion quilting, basic bag construction, and how to insert a zipper. (Note: to save time in class, the pouch we make will be a single fabric. It will not be pieced like the photo above.)
This is a “pay-what-you-can” class, which makes it possible for people of all economic backgrounds to participate. Enter your quantity below, select “Buy Now” and enter your desired payment amount on the next screen. Select “Continue” and you will have the option to pay through PayPal or a credit card.
The suggested fee for the Boxy Pouch class is $30. Because Make.Do. is a 501(c)3 organization, any amount over the suggested fee may be tax deductible.
(If you have trouble at the payment screen, try opening a new browser. Paypal doesn’t always redirect correctly through social media links.)
Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance, you can choose to (1) donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund or (2) credit your fee to a future class. Cancellations made less than 24 hours from the time of the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund. Please email email@example.com to cancel or for more details on Make.Do.’s policy.
