New to sewing? You can do this, I promise!

Quilting is a great way to learn how to sew. It’s straightforward and repetitive, so you can focus on getting comfortable with the machine and the fundamentals of sewing.

We will learn about sewing tools, fabric selection, how to measure and cut fabric, basic sewing techniques, straight-line quilting, and machine binding.

Machines, fabric and supplies are covered in your class fee.

Since not everyone can take the weekend version of the Beginner Quilting class, this class will happen over 4 weeks.

This class will meet Thursdays, February 27 through March 20, from 5:30-8:30pm.

*This class requires a minimum of 4 participants. You will receive a full refund if the class is cancelled.

This is an adult class. Anyone under ages 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy

Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance you can:
  1. donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund
  2. credit your fee to a future class
  3. transfer your fee to a friend.
 
No-shows and cancellations made less than 24 hours from the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund.
