I’ll give you 3 hints for this year’s mystery quilt:

– Description: playful, kaleidoscope
– Fabrics: 4 or 6 fabrics + a background fabric
– Techniques: half square triangles, flying geese, and “spinning” seams to reduce bulk

And since the Accuquilt will be cutting (almost) all of our pieces, you get to focus on improving your 1/4″ seam allowance and other quilting techniques!

The finished quilt will be approximately 54″x72″, which will hang over a twin size mattress or be a coverlet for a queen. You may purchase more fabric to make a larger quilt. We will be making the quilt top only. 

This class meets Thursday nights, April 17 thu May 22, from 5:30-8:30pm. You can also come to the studio on Saturdays if you need more time and don’t want to have “homework.”

$180 – class only. Bring your own fabric (fabric requirements will be sent at least one week before class starts)

$230 – class and materials. You will need to come select fabric BEFORE the class starts so that we can jump straight into sewing! Batting, backing, and binding will be provided to finish the quilt at home or during open studio hours.

The suggested class fee is based on 18 hours of studio time, 8 yards of fabric and 2 yards of batting. Fabric is calculated at a 40% discount. Participants receive a 25% on any additional fabric purchases for the duration of the class.

Cancellation Policy

Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance you can:
  1. donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund
  2. credit your fee to a future class
  3. transfer your fee to a friend.
 
No-shows and cancellations made less than 24 hours from the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund.
