The four-day T-Shirt Quilt class is short, sweet, and intense! We will learn how to prep and cut t-shirts for sewing, piecing techniques, straight-line quilting, and machine binding. This quilt uses 20 t-shirts in a 4×5 grid design.
Quilting is beginner-friendly and great way to learn how to sew! It’s straightforward and repetitive, so you can focus on getting comfortable with the machine and sewing basics. Many of our participants are absolute beginners and have made beautiful quilts. However, if your shirts are extremely special and you would be upset making mistakes, we encourage you to take the Learn-to-Quilt class first or make a “practice quilt” with shirts that hold significance.
Machines, interfacing, batting, and supplies other supplies are covered in the class fee. Not included: t-shirts and fabric for the quilt back.
This class will meet Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:30-9pm and Saturday from 9am-finished. There will be “homework” between the Monday and Thursday class, so plan on spending a few hours prepping your shirts at home.

Cancellation Policy
Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance you can choose to (1) donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund, (2) credit your fee to a future class, or (3) transfer your fee to a friend. No-shows and cancellations made less than 24 hours from the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund.
COVID-19 Cancellation Exemption: If you are experiencing fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell, STAY HOME. Your class fee will be credited for a future date.
