Choosing a “word of the year” is a good way to be intentional about how you want to approach the upcoming months. This hand embroidery craft gives you the opportunity to spend a couple of hours reflecting on your word while you stitch.

Learn how to use your own pattern from the hand lettering workshop or let us create one for you (just be sure to enter your Word of the Year in the registration box below)

This Word of the Year embroidery tutorial is taught by Jo. It is appropriate for by people of all ages and skill levels.

Estimated time to finish project: 2 hours

Skills Learned: how to transfer a pattern, back stitch, french knot, how to finish your hoop, patience

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy

Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance you can choose to (1) donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund, (2) credit your fee to a future class, or (3) transfer your fee to a friend. No-shows and cancellations made less than 24 hours from the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund.
