Embark on a creative journey with our Word of the Year Hand-Lettering Class. Set aside the need for elaborate nibs and inkwells—with just a pen and paper, you’ll discover the beauty of hand-lettering.
This class focuses on the intricacies of creating a captivating “faux calligraphy” style by manually enhancing and sculpting the down strokes of your letters, allowing you to achieve a calligraphy look with any writing instrument of your choice—be it a pen, pencil, marker, or chalk.
Throughout the class, you will walk through step-by-step instructions for a crafting distinct lettering style that will elevate your word of the year into a visually stunning masterpiece.

This class is taught by Hanna.
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Class fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your registration more than 24-hours in advance you can choose to (1) donate your class fee to the Pay-What-You-Can fund, (2) credit your fee to a future class, or (3) transfer your fee to a friend. No-shows and cancellations made less than 24 hours from the class will automatically be donated to the Pay-What-You-Can fund.
