Intermediate Quilting

The Intermediate Quilting class is perfect for anyone that already knows how to sew or as a follow-up to the Learn-to-Quilt, T-Shirt Quilt, or Learn-to-Sew classes. In this three-day course, we will learn alternative piecing techniques, straight-line quilting and free-motion quilting, and machine binding.

Machines, fabric, and supplies are covered in the class fee.

This class meets Thursday and Friday from 5:30-9pm and Saturday from 9am-5pm.

Teen Quilting Class

Quilting is a great way to learn how to sew! It’s straightforward and repetitive, so you can focus on getting comfortable with the machine and sewing basics.

This six-ish week class is a teen-only version of the adult quilting class. It is suitable for both beginners and experienced sewists. We will learn about sewing tools, fabric selection, how to measure and cut fabric, piecing techniques, straight-line quilting, and machine binding.

This class will meet Tuesdays beginning February 9 and take approximately 6 weeks. We will pause as needed to accommodate any Spring Break conflicts.

Table Runner

Nothing says “Fall” like a seasonal table runner! And nothing says “Quilter” like mastering half square triangles. HSTs are a popular quilt-block technique and a good introduction to sewing “on the bias.” This 2-day class with cover different ways to make HSTs, sashing, quilting techniques, and self-binding.
