Camp Shirt

This three-day class will walk you step-by-step through the process of making a camp-style shirt. We will  cover fabric selection, how to read and interpret patterns, using interfacing, sewing a collar and button holes, and other important garment sewing techniques.

This is not a learn-to-sew class. Sewing experience is highly recommended. The class fee includes a copy of the shirt pattern (to-be-determined), fabric and other materials, sewing machine and other supplies.

CLASS SCHEDULE:

  • Thursday and Friday, 5:30-9pm
  • Saturday, 9am-finished

**This class requires a minimum of 3 participants. If the class is cancelled, you will have the option to use your fee for a future class or receive a full refund.

Kid’s Sewing: Level 2

Amp up your sewing skills from the Level 1 or a previous Level 2 class!  This session’s projects include: an apron, a pencil roll and a fuzzy green scrunchie, just in time for St. Patrick’s day. This class will be offered again in April, so sign up for both for double the stitching fun!

This session meets Wednesdays for 4 weeks from February 10th – March 3rd.

Participants must complete Level 1 (Beginner Sewing) | 2nd grade and up.

Kid’s Sewing: Level 2

Calling all sewists fresh out of the Level 1 class or kids looking to take another round of sewing classes. Get comfy and practical with this session’s projects: a velcro wallet with wrist strap, a tote bag and a design-your-own pillow!

This session meets Wednesdays for 4 weeks from April 7th-April 28th.

Participants must complete Level 1 (Beginner Sewing) | 2nd grade and up.

Bowl Cozy

It’s soup season! This microwaveable bowl cozy is the perfect cold-weather sewing project (and it makes a great gift, too). You will have the option to practice free-motion quilting, if you like. Previous sewing experience encouraged.

Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Kid’s Sewing: Level 2

It’s time to build on the skills learned in the beginner class! Level 2 projects this session include: headband with tie, drawstring backpack, and fabric box with buttons.

This session meets Tuesdays for 4 weeks.

Participants must complete Level 1 (Beginner Sewing) | 2nd grade and up.

**This class requires a minimum of 3 participants. If the class is cancelled, you will have the option to use your fee for a future class or receive a full refund.

Kid’s Sewing: Level 2

It’s time to build on the skills learned in the beginner class! Level 2 projects this session include: headband with tie, drawstring backpack, and fabric box with buttons.

This session meets Thursdays for 4 weeks.

Participants must complete Level 1 (Beginner Sewing) | 2nd grade and up.

Kid’s Sewing: Level 2

It’s time to build on the skills learned in the beginner class! Level 2 projects this session include: small wallet with velcro closure and wrist strap, pencil roll up, and applique pillow.

This session meets Thursdays for 4 weeks.

Participants must complete Level 1 (Beginner Sewing) | 2nd grade and up.

Kid’s Sewing: Level 2

It’s time to build on the skills learned in the beginner class! October projects include fabric pumpkin, fanny pack, and neck wrap.

This session is meets Thursdays for 4 weeks.

Participants must complete Level 1 (Beginner Sewing) | 2nd grade and up.
